I just wanted to see if anyone here saw Carrie's performance of "the sound of music" on Movies Rock last friday. Check out her voice on this song. Amazing.

Tony Bennett seemed pleased. That's saying a lot.

I can't believe the crowd didn't give her a standing O for that one.

I agree, but who is. lol Carrie kind of made it her own on that night. It was definitely sung very similar to the original, but in her own voice. Yes, Tony Bennett seemed to like it alot and if he likes it, well, you're getting a big yes from a legend.
