Thanks for the post. The first time I heard this song I thought it would be a #1 for them. But wow, is there an untold story here or should she be in movies?

This is such a sad video, but I actually think that the rawness in her voice might hurt her since it makes the song less radio friendly. Hoping i'm wrong though.

Loved this song the first time I heard it which was on an awards show with Sugarland performing.....hidden story? You will notice Jennifer Nettles wrote this song......only her......no one else....no one collaborated.....no one wrote the music......have to think this is "from the heart" Interesting, isn't it? This reminds me of when Carly Simon wrote "You're So Vain".....it finally came out that she wrote it about Warren Beatty from her personal experience. Makes you wonder......????????

I know this is an old topic. But the emotion that Jen shows in the video is not because she has ever been the "other woman", she hasn't. I don't want to say what (y'all probably know), but another event in her life was the reason for the emotion and the tears.
