I was on Goggle and I pressed News and entered Kellie Pickler and I thought this was interesting.

Over the weekend I learned one thing about the "American Idols." They know the North won the war, but the South has better food.
"My favorite part about the tour? Being in Richmond - now we finally have good food!" the newly svelte Mandisa answered.
Kellie Pickler agreed wholeheartedly. "I'm looking forward to a big ol' plate of fried okra," she said.
Apparently the southern food has side effects, though. Kellie and Mandisa cracked up when talking about Kellie's after-meal habits. "She can burp like a sailor," Mandisa said. But when put to the challenge, Kellie backed down. "The only time I can actually do it is after a good home-cooked Southern meal," she said.
North Carolina native Bucky Convington agreed, holding up his sugary drink like a trophy. "Sweet tea," he said. "First thing I did when I got here. I finally got it."
Most of the "Idols" looked chipper, despite their busy schedules and lack of sleep. Even Katharine McPhee, who had just rejoined the tour the night before, had her hair pulled back in a stylish chignon and was smiling and somewhat rosy-cheeked. Kellie explained that while it was really fun to get dressed up and sing for all the fans, sometimes it's hard to be on the road.
"There is no such thing as stability when you're touring . . . you have a new room every night," she said.
All of the "Idols" were chattering about their plans for jump-starting their careers after their last tour date in September. Mandisa plans to record a Christian album and said she would love to get on stage and do live theater. "I'm trying to put the word out to Oprah to please put me in 'The Color Purple.'"
Kellie's plans? "I'm thinking about doing a rap album," she answered with her cute southern drawl, straight-faced before bursting into giggles "No, I didn't just wake up with this accent. I'm gonna stay true to my roots and do a country album."
Contracts prevented Bucky from being able to give the full scoop on what his "after tour" career would be but hinted that his would also involve country music. He even said he would love to do a rockabilly song with fellow "Idol" Chris Daughtry or a duet with Kellie.
Bucky also divulged that he had back-up plans in case his singing didn't take him far. "I think I'd be a stand-up comedian. Except it would be something I'd have to work at . . . so I really hope this music thing works out," he laughed.
And his advice for Richmonders getting ready to audition for the next season of "AI," hoping for Elliott-like fame? "Me and Kellie got a saying. 'If at first you don't succeed, give up – it probably ain't gonna happen.' Just kidding! Be true to yourself, audition in at least two cities and never give up on what you love."
Melissa Chase can be heard on Q94 weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
