On this week’s Crook & Chase Countdown, Lorianne and Charlie visit with Kenny Chesney!

They also feature Kellie Pickler, in anticipation of the release of her new self-titled CD. This is her sophomore project, and the former American Idol contestant reveals that she was much more involved with this music than with her first CD. Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Vince Gill are also on hand as Lorianne and Charlie countdown the biggest hits of the week.

KENNY CHESNEY has been out promoting the new music from his CD in stores next month, and stops in for a one-on-one with Lorianne and Charlie. Kenny tells the pair that even though he’s accomplished a lot in his career, there are some adventurous things that he is looking to tackle before he “kicks the bucket.” You may be surprised to learn what's on Kenny's "bucket list"!

The featured artist of this week’s countdown is KELLIE PICKLER, who drops by to give Lorianne and Charlie a preview of her 2nd CD, which will be released September 30. Kellie is her hilarious, charming self, but also tells them about her romantic heartbreak last year and how these life experiences found their way into her music. Lorianne and Charlie are shocked to hear that as her career was skyrocketing, her personal life was plummeting!

MIRANDA LAMBERT’s new single is chosen this week by Lorianne and Charlie as BOUND FOR THE COUNTDOWN, and Miranda shares why this single is so important to her and how she hopes that her fans will discover there’s more to her than just GUNPOWDER and LEAD.

In this week’s look back at the 25th Anniversary of Crook & Chase, good friend VINCE GILL comments on his cranky behavior on the golf course. Lorianne was intrigued that the seemingly quiet and reserved country crooner has been known to throw golf clubs across the greens!
