Dear Lorianne and Charlie:
They bring inspiration, they capture your heart along with your ear when they sing. They tell a great story with every song, whether it be happy or sad. They touch you, sometimes they change your life with just one song. A country artist who does this comes along once in a great while.
With a voice of an angel, and a heart so genuine, Kellie Pickler is on her way to becoming one of country music's biggest stars. She is an amazing young lady who has changed my life and touched my heart. She has inspired me. It all started with one song. I was driving home one day and heard "I Wonder" on the radio. I found myself bawling on the side of the road. I have never known my father, and my mom has tried to leave my life twice. But I had no idea who had just sang this song about my life. All I knew is someone felt the same as me, hurt the same as me, had the same questions as me. At least in that aspect of my life. When the song was over, I wiped the tears from my face, and drove home, wondering who it was. Well a couple days later, the song came on again. Yes, I was crying once more.
Now, as many people in this world , my life has been full of heartache, misfortunes and let downs. This day, I had reached a point where, well, what to do about supper wasn't exactly what was on my mind. I felt I didn't want to be here any longer. But, then Kellie came on. At first it added to the pain, but that turned to "Who is this?" So, instead of going home and doing {the unthinkable}, I went home and googled and searched until I found out who this person was who felt what I felt. I got so interested in Kellie, that I spent the rest of the night and into the morning reading, and watching old interviews and such. And like many, many people have, I fell in love with this sweet, funny, amazing, courageous young woman. She has a personality that won't quit, she is so real. I have never been a real religious person, but I am spiritual if that makes any sense. But, I believe God was working through Kellie that day. If not for her singing it, living it, writing it. ........ I wouldn't be here now. She didn't just save my life that day, she did change it, because I had let life make me a bitter, angry person.
Well as Kellie once said, "You're the way you are because you choose to be that way." People don't make you who you are, you choose to be who you are. When I heard that I was like, "You know, she's right." Kellie has taught me sooo much, made me realize so much. I've come a long way from that bitter person I used to be. I am still working on me", but I want to thank Kellie for getting me to where I am today. For touching my life, for saving me from my life.
She says "Never stop chasing your dreams, sometimes they're all you have." Well, my dream is to one day meet Kellie Pickler. To thank her for everything she's done. It's odd to have someone touch your life so much, yet never have met them.
There will always be a special place in my heart for Kellie! If given any small chance Kellie hears this -- Thank you Kellie.

That was deeply touching, Alison.. and I Wonder has had such an impact on people. Everyone that's heard it had nothing but wonderful things to say about how it impacted them. So glad it could do the same for you
That is really touching and an amazing letter. I'm glad that you're a better person, Alison, and I'm glad that Kellie helped you get through this and only made the situation better. She really is an angel and when we read stories like yours, it makes me proud of Kellie for creating such beautiful yet realistic songs. Don't worry, you'll meet Kellie one day.
