Paisley Performs At Fort Campbell

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky.- Country music star Brad Paisley performed at a free concert for soldiers at Fort Campbell Monday night.

Donning a Stetson hat and a 101st Airborne Division T-shirt, Paisley brought his Bonfires and Amplifiers Tour to the troops as a way to say thanks.

Performers Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift also entertained the thousands of people who danced on a field at the base, which sits on the Tennessee-Kentucky state line.

"Having a new son and a family of my own and thinking about leaving, I thought about what we could do," Paisley said. "I thought if anybody needs a night out, an enjoyable evening, it's these guys."

Paisley was referring to scheduled redeployments for later this year.

Jack Ingram, another special guest on the tour, was unable to make the complimentary concert.
