Yeah, I agree. It was a little anticlimatic at some point of the show. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it and can't wait for the new season to start. I hope the strike end soon because it sucks. I hate watching reruns of Jay Leno and Conan! Those are shows I usually watch.

Here's an article on the finale from the NY Post:
FANS FUME OVER 'HEROES' 'DEATHS'
December 5, 2007 -- NOT even super powers or a clever writers' strike-proof season could save "Heroes" from the wrath of its devoted viewers.
Watercooler buzz pointed to many fans being disappointed yesterday with the "season finale" of the popular NBC drama, which tied up several ongoing storylines, seemed to kill off two of its stars and ended with a cliffhanger.
It was a rare effort - compressing a complicated story into just 11 episodes that should have played out over 22 - in which producers tried to treat their viewers respectfully by providing closure to the drama's second season before running out of episodes due to the ongoing writers' strike.

Given the circumstances, I guess they did as well as they could. If they had known, they could have simplified and moved things along more smoothly.
I'm still disappointed there's a chance we'll see more people bleeding from the eyes next season.
I'm excited -- oddly -- about the return of Sylar's powers. He's a great villain.
I thought it was pretty funny that it was a can of spinach -- like Sylar was Popeye regaining his strength -- that was laying in the alley.
I liked seeing Adam being buried alive like Fortunato in Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado." But we don't know how Hiro did that, and I wish we could have seen that.
The end of the West-Claire relationship seemed too rushed, even if I was a bit tired of him.
But I guess we'll get some answers next year.

I'm also kind of excited about Sylar getting his powers back. Without them it was really kind of boring.
I wasn't too sad to see Nathan die, but I was really shocked. I wa more sad to see Nickie die cause I like her a lot more this season than last season.
I thought the best episode this season was when claire's dad got shot. it reminded me of the episodes from last season.
Do you guys think the season will come back this spring, or next fall?

I heard that the bleeding eye girl is somehow central to next year's show. I wonder what heck why. I thought she was a dead when Sylar blew her away.
lol, I didn't notice the can of Spinach until I watched again after a few other fans talked about it. It's pretty funny that the writers sneaked that in!
Well, I think Hiro can teleport to any location so I think it would be easy for him to teleport him into the casket and then teleport out. He could of just laid on top of him I think the casket is large enough to occupy the both of them. You think that's what he did? Otherwise, I have no idea how he did it unless he knocked him unconscious and put him into the casket.

Sylar is amazing as a villain. I get chills every time he's on.
Does anyone know who might have killed Nathan? Some people suggested that it might of been Mr. Bennet aka HRG. I have no idea who it is. It's going to be interesting next year to find out the person.
I agree that the best episode was when Mr. Bennet got shot! Man, I was so sure that he was done for the season. I was kind of sad about it until they showed him at the very end. He's one of my favorite character. I was totally fooled. They should of not showed him and waited till the next episode. It would of had a much more dramatic impact.
Wow, you think it's going to take that long for the next season? It will suck if we have to wait that long! Hopefully the strike end soon. I heard some rumors that will be back on sometime in February, lol. I doubt it's going to happen that soon.

Was that Sylar? I couldn't tell. I'll have to watch it again on the Web.

It can't be sylar because I think they were both in two different locations.

Woah! 35 pages! Should i go back and read the comments from Page 1? Our cable channel is airing Vol 2 in January and u guys are off to Vol 3 already. LOL!
Anyway, i gathered this vol is a bummer.
Did they kill off Nikki? Maybe they'll resurrect (was it??) Jessica? She's the bad half wasnt she? I hope they wont do away with that character. I like her.
BTW i tot that spinach thing with Sylar was quite funny. LOL! Dear ole Popeye. He used to be my favorite cartoon character when i was young. And i tot it was odd that Sylar got killed off, altho he was really creepy.

Nikki appears to be dead, but you never know with this show.

Not that there was a huge doubt, but it's now confirmed that the show will return in the fall.

'Heroes,' new shows 'Chuck' and 'Life' renewed for fall 2008
NBC announced today that it will relaunch Heroes, as well as the struggling freshman series Chuck and Life, in the fall.
Heroes is the Peacock's No. 1 series this season in the all-important adults 18-to-49 demographic and has averaged 13.1 million viewers.
Chuck didn't lure quite the same size audience; the show, about a techie with government secrets in his brain, only averaged 8.7 million.
Meanwhile, the drama — about an offbeat detective who served time in prison for a crime he didn't commit — averaged 8.1 million.

Since the strike is over now, hopefully Heroes will be back also. I am missing the show!
