i didn't really like it. i only watched the first and i didn't like how they were mean to her.

I know you may not like it,but that's part of reality,there are people in this world who get treated like Betty,and I can relate to the character completely,believe it or not,but there are people in this world that don't like me.

I definitely agree, Shellie.

It's just that the newspaper said it was going to be hilarious and I don't see humor in making fun of someone because of their appearance.

It actually is a funny show,it's completely full of satire,you may be too young to understand it though.
In each episode you learn from Betty and her situations,especially her embarressing situations the most,you laugh because you know how it feels,you think,I've done that before.
