DWTS Season 6 - Page 2

OMG this show never lets me down in terms of excitement lol! This is going to be 1 terrific season! Kristi is so adorable! I have been a fan of hers for a very long time, and am so glad to see she is doing so well on this show! I figured she'd do well, just like my cutie pie Apolo Anton Ohno did 2 seasons ago, with the skating background. I also feel bad for Julianne, I figure if she and Adam aren't getting eliminated this week, they'll be going home next week. But so far, my favorites are: Kristi, Marlee, Priscilla, and Jason. My least favorites: Penn, Adam, and Monica. Who I think will get eliminated this week: based on performance, it should be Monica and Penn, but you never know. Who I think could win: even though it's a little early to tell, I can usually correctly predict who's gonna be in the finals, and this year, I strongly think Kristi could be a finalist, if not a winner.

I, also, am a big fan of Kristi. I have been ever since the '92 Olympics, when she won the gold medal. She's the one responsible for my becoming interested in figure skating. In my opinion she represents the best in the beauty and charm of skating. When on the ice she was, and still is, the personification of grace and elegance. As a skater she was, and remains to this day, simply exquisite. And all I can say about her dancing so far is... "WOW"!

Kristi is by far the best and deserves to win. However, with this show it's impossible for a woman to win. Jason is your winner. Edyta will finally win and they can get rid of her boring behind.

I think Kristi has a strong chance of winning but a woman hasn't won DWTS since Season 1. In my opinion the women were better last season but Helio still won. But I think we'll have somewhat of a mixture of a Kristi/Mario/Jason finale.

If Adam goes home this week, I'll be shocked. His fanbase combined with Julianne's (who probably has a larger fanbase than some of the celebrities) they will make it past this week. I actually think he has a good chance to outlast quite a few of the girls.

I don't think Kristi will win, because she is this years token person with experience who starts out far above the rest and it will eventually come back to bite her. I think she'll make to at least the top 3 though.

Kristi is a true sweetheart. She lives in my hometown and I've had the opportunity to meet her on several occasions. She's a true class act in every sense of this word.

I highly doubt they will get rid of Edyta. She, Julianne, and Cheryl are the three most popular people on the show. You can say what you want about Edyta, but you can't deny the fact that she's in magazines, attending premiers, and generally drawing people into the show.

Yes. Do you remember that it was in the summer rather than the fall/spring (hence less viewers)? There was no big names that would have a huge pre established fanbase? Kelly was a popular star on a popular sopa opera on that network? Also she wasn't the best dancer or front runner?

A lot has changed with the show since season 1 and it's way more popular which is alas hindered a lot of the women's chances.

Kristi is first in a lot of the polls which is a good sign since Laila and Sabrina never were. She seems to actually be extremely popular when you go around to the boards. They are also having her dance to music and having routines that are more appealing to the younger voters.

You can say what you want but she has a flat personality. Also, maybe with the exception of Julianne, the celebs draw way more viewers in rather than the pros. The show is about them and the pros are really just guiding tools for them when they dance.

I think Steve/Anna will go. I thought they were really underscored and deserved 21's on both dances but I guess that's just me. I <3 Kym (she won the aussie verison of the show) and I hope she stays around. She is fun, sexy, good dancer, nice, and a good choreographer without being self entitled and snotty (alas Cheryl & Julianne).

The key word you've mentioned there is growth. Kelly did grow a lot on the show, and thats why she won. The female performers more recently have all shown little growth, they all started out amazing and ended amazing. I think the reason males have won is because it easier to see their growth since they begin so rough around the edges.
