I need some advice about this guy that I have a crush on
OK so our school is having a Halloween party this Friday and this guy named Rhylon will probably be there. I'm never met or talk to him, I've just seen him in person and I thought he was so cute. Plus he seems like a very nice guy since everyone I talk to loves him and thinks he's a great guy. Then I find out that he's dating Amber and I was disappointed. His mother knows that I have a crush on him, his friends know and they don't seem bother by it. One of his friends even forgot that he's dating Amber. From my talk with his friend, It almost sounded like she wanted me to make a move/flirt with Rhylon. I'm wondering if his relationship with Amber is serious or not? I plan on looking great at the party. I want to meet and talk with him. The thing is I don't know what to say to him. I want him to know that I like him A LOT but I want to do that without telling him because I don't want to scare him away. What should I do?
PS Guys can post some advice for me especially teen age boys. I want to hear a boy's point of view about this but all ages (females and males) can give me some advice!

Ashlae, what I think that you should do, is just go up to him at the dance and talk just casually to him so you don't freak him out or anything and just lead the conversation from there... Ya know, ask him questions that you think he would answer so you two can get to know each other better...
I hope that I've helped you try and figure out what you can do.

I'm a teenage boy, and I would say, sure talk to him, but don't come on too strong, especially if he is dating someone else, I would not like it if some girl came up to me and wanted to be in a relationship, if I was already in one...
