My Dad Had Another Stroke
He's on a machine now to help him breathe. The doctors say that if he does'nt improve by Monday that we have a decision to make. Whether to keep him breathing artificially or shut it off and let him go.
I never imagined being in this position.
It hurts.

My mom passed a few weeks ago she was 91 had good life. Sometimes you have to let nature take its course. What would your Dad want? GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY!

I know it's rough, Steve. Our family has seen so many of us linger on & on and then finally, mercifully, they passed. After experiencing all of that, every one of us who are alive today have Living Wills. It may sound cold, but it's so much better than suffering; for both the patient & the family/friends.

As of midnight last night,he was stable.No better or worse.
I don't know what i want. For him to improve just to have to go through this again later or what.
Ultimately...it's Mom's decision. I can only tell her what i think. And i don't know what i think.

These life decisions can be the worst to experience,even i wouldn't know what to say to you Steve.
Has he experienced a great deal of suffering?
You did mention he was hooked to a bunch of equipment.
Is he repsonsive to anyone?
I have this sense of feeling that he's at a medium,no quite at peace yet.
I'll be praying for your family Steve,may the Lord be with you all during this difficult process.
