I have a huge favor to ask. Please pray for my dad. He had a major stroke yesterday while i was at his house. Not only did he not recognize me,he did'nt even know i was there. He was awake. He was just completely unresponsive. He just stared out the window.They took him by ambulance to the nearest hospital and then Life Flight flew him to another hospital that specializes in strokes. They did a procedure to shatter the blood clot in his brain but it was unsuccessful. So they were going to try again and if it did'nt work the 2nd time...they were going to have to operate.
Please say some prayers for him.His name is Bob.
I'm scared i've lost my dad.

I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear that, Steve.
Your Dad will certainly be in our prayers.
I will ask our preacher to say a special prayer for him at church, this sunday.
So sorry to hear about your Dad Steve...My thoughts and prayers will be with your Dad and your family...I just read about a medical procedure for stroke victims in Readers Digest that sounds like a miracle..God bless..

Hey Steve, keep me posted via PM !! Your Dad is in my prayers! On May 3 2004, my stepfather at age 58 had a major stroke. Docs gave the news for him no to last 6-8 months. Well lord willing, he's still here, even after 7 more major and I've lost count of how many smaller strokes. When he gets home chief, be ready to be a good son, and be there to assist in every way possible. Its hard, its tough, but hey... were kellie people, were tough right?
They finally got the clot to break up last night. Dad's now able to recognize people. He's partially paralyzed on the right side and his speech is greatly impaired. But they are very hopeful that these things will improve after rehab. What they are'nt so sure about is that he'll be able to walk again. This is only because he had arthritus in his legs prior to the stroke.
But considering the severity of his stroke;he's hanging in there and is doing better than expected.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your Prayers and concern.

Yeah,the fact that he seem's to know people is a relief. I'll never get that look on his face when it happened out of my head.
It's my nightmare forever.
