It's a shame Amazon's price is about the highest. I wouldn't buy from smaller sites like deepdiscount.com until confirming it counts for her Soundscan/Billboard 200 sales. Tower.com is a major CD retailer so they most likely report sales to Soundscan.
Sales data from cash registers is collected from 14,000 retail, mass merchant, and non-retail (online stores) outlets in Canada and the U.S. Though this includes all major brick-and-mortar retailers, it is not a 100% sample of record sales; it excludes music clubs as well as some independent retailers and online outlets.

Before the Jimmy Kimmel show I went to waste some time in the VIRGIN records store across the street from the theater. They were selling Kellie's CD for $18.99!!! Very few people are going to pay that price!

woah ridiculous. NOBODY pays 19 bucks for a cd anymore. that's like FYE, most of their cd prices are like 20 bucks. they're crazy.
