TTNCAMM vs. Our Song Discussion

It's interesting that Our Song #63 got the jump on TTNCAMM #83 and a few stations put it in good rotation already. Why? More/better promo? Has Our Song even been released yet?

i don't think the reason is better promo this time, i know that "Our Song" was announced 2 weeks and half before Kellie's song

Yeah Our Song was made known as the third single way before Kellie's.

Ok but when was it actually released? I don't see anything in Country Aircheck top 5 downloads over the past few weeks and since Teardrops was released digitally I guess Our Song would be too. According to this post the release or adds date is the same as TTNCAMM CMT.com : Taylor Swift : Message Board

Yeah "Our Song" was already announced as the new single by Taylor. She also already filmed the video for it. But anyways, I can't wait to see how "TTNCAMM" does. I think the song is really catchy and fun so it should do good at country radio.

I was also shocked to see that in just the beginning of its third week of airplay and being on the charts(today).... Carrie Underwood's new song "So Small" is already at number 14 on mediabase! When I saw that this morning I think my jaw literally dropped to the ground lol. Not only that but for the billboard update it could shoot to number 12. I really hope to see Kellie's new song do this good. I personally like this one better then RHH.

Oh and by the way, once radio stations see when a released day is set..they tend to already immediately start playing it to test the song and such. So a new song by an artist really debuts the first time on the chart usually before the adds date. I guess they are just testing "Our Song" more lately since taylor and her crew already announced "Our Song" to be the next single before Kellie's people did.

i think they both will do well, Taylor will have her #3 top 10 and Kellie hopeful her first one! can't wait lol

i haven't heard either song on the radio yet. but anyways, I agree with you Augusto, both songs are going to REALLY well.

Ok I guess that explains it then. So we have Kellie, Bucky, and Taylor all releasing on the same date. lol I'm not surprised about So Small's debut because it's a great song plus she's about the most favored artist on radio and stations can't wait to play her new singles. We saw this with Wasted too.

James no one is "fussing" we're just trying to figure out release dates and promo.
