Kellie's Third Single Discussion
Well, it was released on February and only peaked in August. IW had a great run and did better than RHH for sure.
But, as for the third single, I really don't want TTNCAMM  I wish I liked this song, tho. I think "Didn't..." is a lot better. |

Me too! I think her vocals are much better in Didnt but she is great in all of them; I am sure her management will take into consideration what the fans really want; I am sure they read polls etc.

After heavily considering the three primary choices, TTNCAMM, DYKHMILY, and STG.. I have resolved that I think the best single choice is Small Town Girl
For three primary reasons:
-It's upbeat, catchy, and real... what people love the most about Kellie's songs.
-It also isn't a ballad (DYKHMILY). It's wierd to follow a ballad with a ballad. The vocals are genuine country sounding and lyrics are awesome
-It's direct promo. The CD is called Small Town Girl, the song is called Small Town Girl.. thats a direct hit!

I agree! STG would also be a great choice. And yeah, seeing as IW is a ballad and "Didn't..." is also a ballad, STG is the best choice. |

DYKHMILY can still be released I just don't think it should be the next single. They need to have something a little more fun. Also I am dreading the comparisons to Carrie's Before He Cheats if TTNCAMM is released.

Kellie cd is so personal that "STG" is one of the fews songs that i know many people will relate and "STG" embrace the fun bright side of Kellie that we all love and she can make a very cute video with this one |

Yeah... I really think that the male bashing thing is going to echo some other songs and it just wouldn't be the best choice. STG is totally harmless. |

Wild Ponnies is a balad. I don't think she should take the Carrie route and release all ballads and one uptempo song. I know this is off topic but that's what bugs me about Carrie. She had a few uptempo songs on her album that could of been released and crossed over to pop.
I think "One of the Guys" would be great because football season coming up and they could use that as a commerical or something. "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind" would be good too.
