They just announced it on "The View."

Rosie presented her with the big plaque you get. "Small Town Girl" has gone gold!!!!!!

(Rosie said they tried to get Dolly Parton to present it, but she was on tour and unable to attend.)

Maybe they should do a sitcom about an up and coming Nashville singer who wants to meet Dolly Parton but just keeps missing her! LOL
