I thought I would start a thread about potential scenarios for the I Wonder Video. Maybe, if Kellie or someone at BNA checks this website out from time to time they may get some ideas.
Of course, the plan for the video may already have been decided.
However, here goes my idea:
At the beginning of the song, Kellie is in her old bedroom in Albemarle. They would probably re-create one in Nashville, but it would look like hers with pink stuff all around, and North Stanley High School stuff on the wall. Maybe a picture of the high school quarterback that she gave her first kiss to (ha ha). She would be lounging around, daydreaming, eventually going to her dresser where she looks in the mirror......a picture of her mom is there on her dresser right next to the mirror.
During the chorus, she is walking around Albemarle on a beautiful sunny day. Towns people are nice and greet her. She sees young families walking around.
With the second verse, she is walking in a park and there is a young girl 6 or 7, who looks like Kellie getting her hair braided by her mom. Maybe Kellie walks by and sees the two on a park bench. Everywhere are kids with their mom. In a flash back, Kellie is doing a cheer at a high school football game and she looks up into the stands and her mom is missing. Next flashback, she is getting ready for her high school prom (maybe with the pink revealling dress that showed up on the internet......Naw, no way!) Then back to walking in the park and Kellie sees a young girl hurt with her mother comforting her.
Next chorus, Kellie is up high somewhere, maybe at an overlook in the Carolina mountains or a balconey at the beach. This chorus, shows close ups of Kellie's face, and coming in close for the powerful bridge about forgiveness....Kellie will nail the expresion (with tears) for this pivotal moment.
With the last chorus, she is back at her home, packing up her U-Hall (she did rent one and drove it herself to Nashville), and with the last part of the song, she is driving her U-hall into the mountains that separate NC from Tennessee.
(I recognize that the last part about a U-Hall is somewhat out of character with the rest of the piece, so maybe someone could come up with something a little more powerful about Kellie moving on.)

I was thinking maybe this could be a reflective scene... like Kellie sees somebody else doing it..

Overall I love your idea!! I really hope they do an amazing job on this video.
Robert...Great scenario....I, too, have images of "I Wonder"....A little blonde girl looking into the mirror braiding her own hair.....her mother's brown eyes "looking back at me" from the mirror.... an image of Kellie "flashing back to herself" as a little girl with a skinned knee with tears in "little Kellie's eyes"The last chorus, how about Kellie crossing the TN line showing the "Welcome To TN" sign while driving her U-Haul?
Good idea.
I have thought about this video for a long time and thought that flashbacks of her when she was a little girl would be a good.
I love your idea of Kellie looking into the mirror, the little girl getting her hair braided, and getting comforted by her mother after getting hurt.
I wish she would come back to Albermarle and give a concert for everyone and make that part of the video as well. If not that at lease some footage of her at the homecoming in this past May.

I definitely like the idea of a concert in Albemarle. I would love to be there.

Great ideas, Robert.
Maybe they could film the last part in some of the more scenic parts of Nashville. Have her walking around her new town, taking in the wonders of being in the home of country music. Maybe in front of the old Ryman.
Or show her in an apartment, unpacking some personal items, like photos.
I was thinking also like her looking in the mirror and seeing her eyes and then flashing back but her eyes in the mirror would transform to her mom's in the flashback. Am I making sense?
Also, are they talking about making a vid for I Wonder or are we just doing these because it's fun?

My idea is not fully mapped out but here it is:
Kellie’s writing a letter to her mom.
It begins with her in her room, writing and singing, and things are getting packed up.
Kellie would also be walking in the city, and see girls getting their hair braided, and a girl trying on a prom dress. She could also see a little girl and her mom walking together. She’d be sobbing, and at the end of the video, she’d stop at a blue mailbox, and put a package in. Also, it’d show Kellie driving to Tennessee. It’s really good in my mind, I just can’t map it out. Not too good at that stuff.
