It would be cool if my letter made it on the air when they do the mailbag thing. They do it twice so hopefully I have a chance. let me know what you think. I'll keep you guys posted on whether it makes it or not.
dear Kix,
i am a 27 year old student who is about to graduate from graduate school. for those of you who haven't had to face the extra hardship of growing up with a disability then you probably don't understand how hard it was to even get my foot in the door. for most of my life i was teased and ridiculed and spent a good portion of my school years on the outside looking in, and hating every minute of it. i had no friends and those that i did manage to find years later were never true ones, with the exception of one. i always believed i would fail and i never stood up for myself. but one song changed my entire outlook on women and their self esteem. ever since i heard kellie pickler's red high heel's, i started to believe that it was possible for me to succeed. just as the woman in the song is standing up for herself, i too have discovered a new sense of self worth. and from now on i am going to try and believe that everyone has the same potential and go after my dreams. i would like to thank my american idol kellie pickler, who i voted for every week by the way, for showing me what i had forgotten for so many years. can you please play red high heels by kellie pickler and dedicate it to any woman who dosn't think they have the power to stand up for themselves as a reminder that they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.

That's a great letter. I hope they read it. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of disability do you have? I have cerebral palsy and I used to feel the same way you did.
