Does anyone have a really sensitive nose???? pleeeaaasssseeee read!!!

i was wondering if anyone else has an overly sensitive nose. i can smell cigarretes 2 blocks away and when im in the car, i can tell what people have eaten because i can smell their breath! Also i feel ill if there is a really bad smell such as skunk or tar. it started happening in the summer between 6th and 7th grade. im really confused because i can smell things my family and friends cant and they think im crazy!!!!! please post

I'm just the opposite, I think. My nose is not very sensitive, which is probably a good thing for my cat.

Your sensitive nose can be a gift. There are some jobs (chef, for example) or hobbies you're going to be able to do better than the rest of us.

Mines sensitive,but not as sensitive that you're describing.
Strong scents really affect me,perfume and soaps, and cigarette smoke bother me the most.
Sounds like that smeller of yours is over active,do you have sinus problems?

I relate to that problem completely...I have this allergy problem and you would think your sense of smell would not be that great but I can also tell if a cig is lighted even if it is outside the door and the door is closed..Any odor I readly detect...Sometimes it is a problem but I guess if we ever had a natural gas leak I would be the first to detect that also lol..I would guess you may have an allergy problem also...Cheap perfume will give me an instant headache just from the odor....It doesn't get any better with age either....

Do you have anyother bad sences? Like hearing, seeing, tasting? I think if you have a one strong sence, then the other ones aren't as good.
