When I try to go to certain websites this is the error I get:

And when I try to edit preferences it asks for a password, we don't know the password. How or who would I get the password from?

You probably would need to create an account there. It looks like a photo site like the Kodak Gallery site. But before you do that:

What sites are sending you there?

-- It may also be that you have some kind of browser hijacker that is redirecting you. (This is like a virus.)

Do you have any anti-spyware programs installed?

I'd run at least one of these: Ad-Aware or Spybot. Both have free versions.

-- It may also just be some really obnoxious ads that are hard to click around that are taking you there.

In any case, unless you know there's a good reason to be on that site, and there's something you really want to see, I wouldn't register.

I am already registered under photobucket. I also can't get to:
Yahoo! (anything that says yahoo in the description section)
Google (anything that says google in the description section)
Welcome to CafeMom (thats a baby message board)

theres others I just can't think of them right off (I'd have to try them to remember)

I'm not sure as to what this computer has on it, it's my boyfriends computer. We kinda figured it was probably a virus but wasn't sure.
