Prayers for Virginia tech

Again, America has faced another tragedy. I was totally unaware of this event till late this afternoon, and now just sit stunned. I ask all of you to offer a prayer tonite for the students of V.T., and thier families. it seems to me that this is getting all too common here. Its just so sad.

Yeah I feel the same way its just so sad it wasn't fair to all the families its a sad day My heart and prayers go out to all their familes too.

It's just now sinking in how horrible this tragedy truly is.

I can't imagine the horror that so many families and friends are suffering tonight.

I was absolutely in shock and heartbroken when it was announced earlier today,May God be with them all during this tragic time.
No person should suffer this way.
Lord be with all the families during this time.

I will pray for all of these people and their families and friends. I felt so sad today to hear of this that I felt sick to my stomach! This should never have happened and I hope nothing like this never happens again!

Always, always, always be on guard, no matter where you are. My kids school has been on a new system of total lockdown daily. I love it. EVERY door is locked, of course it's an elementary school, but you have to be SO careful these days. I pray too for these heart broken families, of this senseless crime. This is hard to say too, but we also need to pray for the gunman's family.... I don't know anything about them, but I can't imagine how they feel either about his actions, I just couldn't bare it if someone I knew did something like this...Prayers are th only thing that we can really do for ALL of these people's families, they are the most powerful, thanks kelliefans for your sincerity and prayers...

You would think that, by now, the powers-that-be would understand the positive power of profiling. Apparently, they have not grasped the value of profiling.
That nut case, at Virginia Tech, was profiled all over the place. If any one of the authorities had taken the initiative to send his photo & personal info to the local gun shops and told them, "If this guy comes into your store, I want to know about it immediately", perhaps this tragedy could have been avoided.

I just heard, today, that our church will hold a special service for the victims at Virginia Tech. ***I better take more than one hankerchief***

I know this is terrible for me to say..... nerd gone bad. Fred I agree with you. Seems to me the cops had this one in the light, and for some reason, no one caught on. Now 30+ lives are lost, and many are never gonig to be the same. Today up in Minn. i guess they had a near miss of sorts. So much of this goes on, it makes you wonder what the world is going to be like in 20 years.

I almost went to VT. I love the campus, I love the people there, and hearing the news felt like a part of me had died along with them. Its unbelievable.

Its very sad. I don't know if anyone posted this already (Sorry, I didn't read them all), but what really stood out to me was that there was a professor who died. He held the door shut while the whole class climbed out the window. Then he tried to run for the window, but the guy shot him.

Tomorrow my school is wearing Virginia Tech colors in rememberance of them.

This should not have occurred. The students of Virginia Tech should be safe from all harm. I will pray for them forever. And please be safe and mourn for these innocent victims and families of this horrible tragedy. This event has shook the United States worse than when Columbine was occurring.
