Hello Everybody I miss you all. I know I’d been gone for a while but I needed to take a break and catch up on a lot of stuff and I knew if I came on here it would be so hard to get off since it is so addicting here but Between settling in, (I just moved) working and training for the Boston Marathon. My time was so tight and Id been so exhausted that I would just come home and crash.
And to top that off! For the last 2 weeks I‘d been really sick as some of you know I was suppose to go away this weekend to participate and run in the Boston Marathon. I was looking forward to this event and had everything planned out except one important thing!
That thing was I did not think I would get sick before this event. I have had sore throat since before Easter and it had gotten so bad that I had to go to the hospital and see my doctor numerous times this past week. I could barely swallow much. Talking is impossible and is now on 3 - 4 different medications. (Antibiotics /augmentin, codeine, and prednisone and some other antibiotics) needless to say they had to drain an Abscess ( pus buildup ) in my throat and stuck a long needle in 3 different spots. Man I was in sooooooo much pain……… and now I have to get my tonsil taken out once my throat heals up.
I’m depressed that I won’t be able to run Boston Marathon this year and now have to wait til next year. But I am feeling a little bit better today thank god!
I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I couldn’t eat anything so mine was a bust…. Now I know I have a lot of catching up to do and hope to talk to all of you soon.

thanks today is the first day i could talk and take in more solid food. lol i still have to get my tonsil taken out. I guess it will be done next month

my new place is nice i mean I still have alot to do with it. but I'll just take my time, when I got sick of course I didn't get a chance to do anything ,lol
yeah I was bummed out for Easter since I missed all the goodies and I was suppose to go away for that weekend too to my brothers lake house but stayed home
as far as the Boston Marathon. I'll have to wait til next year. I had to cancel hotel, etc. and I lost my money for the entrants since there is no refund for that.

Aww sorry you didn't get to see your brother.
That stinks about losing all of your money but maybe it's for the best. You're still sick and the weather looks to be pretty bad anyways.
