Picture to burn lyrics....changed!!!!
For the past several months as I have been listening to Taylor's Picture To Burn, I kept thinking there was a line about telling her friends that the guy was gay. But it is not in the video or in any of the radio plays I have heard.
I pulled out my CD and listened (which I haven't listened to for nearly a year) and sure enough, in the first verse the CD version goes:
That's fine; I'll tell mine you're gay, and by the way...."
In all the current versions
That's fine; You won't mind if I say, and by the way...."
It kinda leaves you hanging...what is it that he won't mind if she says? |

can i explain. taylor probably didnt want people to think bad of her for cussing in teardrops.. and saying ill tell mine your gay.. because taylor is such a nice person.. i dont think they wanted to put it on air because, they didnt want people to be like omgosh she cussed i thought she was a good girl.. and plus i know alot of christian people that like her and they said if they ever heard her cuss or say anything bad they wouldnt like her.. so thats y i think they did that.. thats my opinion.. i dont now if they have ever heard the unedited version.. and pluss shes only 18 haha.. little kids idolize her and they might take after her..

Honestly I don't understand what's wrong with the lyrics. It's not like she's singing about racism or killing someone or drugs. I don't know what's the big deal about it, LOL but that's part of being famous. You can't do anything or say anything that might be offensive to others.

They changed "I laugh cuz it's so damn funny" to "I laugh cuz it's just so funny", in "TDOMG" too. That lyric does mention homosexuality so maybe it was changed so that nobody would be offended.
