Report: Hannah Montana Has Another Double

As if the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana double identity wasn't enough, another player has entered the game

There's only one Hannah Montana. Or is there?

Earlier this week, OK! magazine online posted an article breaking the news that Miley Cyrus, a.k.a., Hannah, uses a body double during her wildly popular concert performance. A video posted on YouTube last month claims to show the evidence, but the posting has since been removed.

Now OK! says a rep for Cyrus has issued a statement confirming that Hannah does indeed have a split personality:

"To help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley, there is a production element during the performance of We Got the Party incorporating a body double for Miley," her representative tells OK!.

"After Hannah has completed the featured verse on the duet with the Jonas Brothers, a body double appears approximately 1 to 2 minutes prior to the end of the song in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set. Other than during this very brief transitional moment in the show, Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert."

I don't think it's a huge deal, as it's only for part of one song. There's the Hannah/Miley identity issue already -- when is she Hannah Montana who isn't real and when is she Miley Cyrus who is? And I bet she's not the first artist that has done something like this on stage.

But I wonder how her most passionate fans are going to react.

This is normal for shows that require heavy wardrobe changes. Back when Reba was in her prime, she was the queen of body doubles having multiple ones whose sole job was to look like her at different points in the shows.

I imagine it's probably a pretty standard way of doing things. After all, nothing would drag a show down like a fifteen minute wait for a wardrobe change.

Don't know anything about Hanna Montana, but my guess is that it is as
much a production or show,as it is a concert. If so, no big deal.
