From what I hear over at the Carrie forum, it's supposed to be less pop and more country than Some Hearts.

if it's less pop and more country, then i wouldn't like it. i always liked carrie as a rocker, but that will never happen.

I'd honestly be shocked if this album did as well as the first. But even if it doesn't it will still be incredibly successful. She set a precedent for herself that I don't think she will get again.
I can't wait to hear the new album. I can't wait til its up for a listening party somewhere!

I think the album will do better than the original, since Carrie has become so extremely successful these past two years and so her fans will go nuts getting her on the top.

There are a few songs on the album that sound absolutely incredibly. There are a few where I think she's trying for country a bit too much and winds up singing through her nose.
Sounds like its gonna be an incredible album though.

I can't wait for Carries New Album to come out! I hope all of the songs on the album are as good as the songs on her last album Some Hearts

I'm usually a big skeptic, but after previewing the tracks, this album will be huge. I agree with Pickpickler811. Many major hits. No sophomore jinx here.

i was listening to some previews over at carrie-fan.net and i really really like that song "Last Name." she needs to release that as a single and i think it has potential crossover hit written all over it
