Oh, somebody had to toss out the C word. Pick any other genre of music, even Metal. You don't see the artists killing each other over the words used in a song or for some other lame *** reason. At least Metal was just about killing yourself, not taking out half the posse with the other guy.
We ban books today because they are deemed "morally or socially inappropriate" same should apply to music. Ban it all I say.

which I'm still sickened by...what in the world is going through Ev's head. Ira says its just for publicity which I'm praying is true, but ugghh its hard to see her with him.
Back to the topic at hand, I think that censorship in regards to artistic expression is a dangerous path, that said I do think that rap artists whould be held accountable for what they say, and if the public makes a decision to not buy the albums, then things will die out on their own.

No, actually this is still on the subject of censorship and is it a good thing.
There's an audience out there for everyone. Whether it be rap or metal or whatever. The question is....is this stuff the CAUSE of rapes,murders,suicides,etc.
Entertainment is always the blame whenever a tragedy happens.
What about certain politicians and the news media?

I might be getting off subject here in this post and if I am someone can start a new thread, poll or something but I'm interested in how people feel about this.
I upset that NBC who recevied the package from the murderer at the Virginia Tech thing and then in turn released the video of the killer talking about why he did what he did especially right after it happened. This feeds people who are in trouble to think this is a way to let people know who they are and how to get their names out in the news forever. Also to add to this he mentions in the video the Columbine High School shootings who if you remember shot videos of themselves.
I think NBC released this thing in bad taste but sometimes I just wish this kind of thing was censored to some degree. I think that it can be handled in a different and better way. Otherwise it just hurts society more instead of helping it.
