Katharine: The official track list
This is probably not what you'd call a scoop, but at least it's evidence that RCA is putting a push on for Katharine. I just got a little package containing a photo montage of nine highly glamorized photos (including the album cover, which is the least glam, depicting Katharine in some sort of bumblebee-pattern sweater, massive above-the-knee boots and nothing else visible clothing-wise). You should be able to check the shots out accompanying this post, at least so you can snicker at my fashion-handicapped attire descriptions.
Also included is another montage of magazine covers and stories and the track listing for the album (still out Jan. 30). The track list follows.
I realize straight track listings are not very helpful, but for your perusal, here they are:
1. Love Story
2. Over It (co-written and co-produced by Billy Steinberg, who wrote stuff such as How Do I Make You by Linda Ronstadt, I Touch Myself by The Divinyls, True Colors by Cyndi Lauper, and many more).
3. Open Toes (which has a Katharine co-write credit, along with four other people)
4. Home
5. Not Ur Girl (another Katharine co-write; spelling apparently wasn't a specialty of hers, or her three co-writers. I know, beating dead horses again ... )
6. Each Other
7. Dangerous
8. Ordinary World
9. Do What You Do
10. Better Off Alone
11. Neglected (a third co-write for Katharine, again with four others
12. Everywhere I Go (produced and co-written by Babyface)
Some of the names can also be found in Fantasia's credits. And, like Taylor, no sign of either title from her coronation single.
