John Travolta is priceless in his heavy set role. Michelle Phieffer still has it after all these years,she was fabulous.Young Zac Efron,the teen heart throb,had my heart throbbing for sure.
HairSpray get's 5 Stars for theatrics.

I'm anxious to see it 'cause there's been local talk that Travolta has the BALMER (Baltimore) accent down pat. That's not easy for a non-Baltimorion to do.
I was programming a voice activated typing program, a couple years ago, and it had a terrible time understanding my Balmer "O".
