There was a survey done about a year ago that I heard on my local radio station. The question that was surveyed was

"What is the most famous (well known) movie quote of all time."

I don't know any more detail about how the poll was conducted, what the make up of the target audience, or exactly how the question was asked (too long ago, don't remember exactly). But is was "famous" that was used.
