Kira in Egypt ( three months later!)

Hi Kellie fans!

I promised you a pics of me in Egypt three months ago but I was having trouble attaching the pic so I will try again.

Kira, I loved your pic on the camel...that is so neat!!! Thanks for posting that, it is really a good picture. Would love to see more!!! Why were you in Egypt?? Did you have family there???

My husband is Egyptian and we go there almost every year to see his family and our friends. I will try to post more pics i had the worst time with this one; my daugther's fiancee had to work with me until we figured it out. But Egypt is awesome; I love it. We will go this year in July hopefully as my daughter, Amira's wedding will be there.

Kira, I ask today about posting pictures and it turned out to be pretty simple. you download your pictures into Photobucket (you can start yourself an account for free, Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket), then you copy the IMG code and just start a new thread here on this website and paste the IMG code there and ......there is your pic!!!!! I ask one of the younger posters on here, they are soooo smart about the computer!!!!! Congratulations on your daughter's wedding!! I bet it will be beautiful and very original....in Egypt!!! How nice.

thank you all for the nice comments. Now that I think I know how to do it, I will try in the next few days to post some more pics that will really blow your minds as I am sure some of you think Egypt is all sand, deserts and pyramids!

That was a great pic! What pyramid was that? It looked smaller than the huge ones you always see.

What's it like to ride a camel? Are they really mean? I heard they will spit at you if they don't like you.

How cool that you get to go to Egypt!

We have been to thy pyramids many times during various trips to Egypt. Actually this time we took horses around all the pyramids so I am not sure which one that was as there are three in the same area. After we finished our hour and half long horseback ride we decided to take some pics on a camel. No , they are not mean, at least not that I have ever encountered although it might be true that they spit, but it is a bit scary when the camel stands up with you on its back as they re in a kneeling position when you mount them, and then when they go back down to let you off you really feel as if you will fall off so you have to hold on real good! I will post some more pics from egypt that will put to rest any notion that Egypt is all camels and desert. WE have some pics at a gorgous resort in Hurghada on the Red Sea, and in a Yacht club in Alexandria on the meditteranean. In the next few days I will try to post pics but probably not until Thursday as I watch American idol on Tuesdays and WEdnesdays but I will do my best.
