My car
This is why you don't drink and drive kids.. I was hit by a drunk driver a couple days ago on my way home from seeing Kat McPhee on Kimmel. Thank God I'm okay, just really sore but no serious injuries. But my car is totaled and the guy is in jail right now.
Last picture of me in my car.

Woah Myriam! I am glad you're alright and safe! Geeze, your car seem to be totaled. Is it salvageable/repairable?
I was in a car accident once and I was in the back seat with no seat belts The crash was so strong that it actually ripped off my watch right off my hand and the front of the car was completely totaled! It was late at night and we had to wait by the side of the freeway because the fire department said that it was not driveable. So I know how it feels to be in an accident.

Unfortunately it's not repairable, but since the driver is at fault he'll have to pay the worth of my car. He had a hearing today where he decided if he wanted to make a deal (pay 15,000 for my car, a year in jail, probation, counseling, etc) or go to trial but I haven't heard what he decided to do.
Oh gosh, that sounds horrible! You must have been REALLY scared. My glasses flew off to the back seat but having your watch ripped off is just realllly scary. That must have been a huge impact. I'm glad you're okay after all that too though. Accidents are not fun at all.

Awww, that sucks! Well, at least he's going to have to pay for your car! What kind of car is it? I can't really make out what model it is.
Yeah, I was VERY terrified when it happen. It happen so fast though. I could actually see the impending crash right before my eyes Talk about morbid vision!
Lucky I didn't suffer any physical injuries, except for the scratch caused by the watch metal strap as it broke off, but I was scared mentally for 1 1/2 years before I was able to trust others to drive me around. Before that, everytime a driver would seem to get close to the other car, I get tensed and tell the driver to SLOW DOWN or WATCH OUT firmly all though there were plenty of room and they fully see the car in front of them. Most of the time I peferred driving myself.

It's a 2003 Jetta.. which I really liked. I'm still going to get a Volkswagon, well because that car pretty much went through a lot through that crash. I was spinning in the middle island and knocked down a little tree. Eh.
Ugh I know what you mean about it happening fast.. It actually felt slow though at the same time you know? It's like okay stop!
That's good you didn't get any severe injuries.. Were you sore the next few days? I'm like aching right now.
Oh I already know what you mean about trusting other drivers even though I was driving. My parents have been driving me around and I can't help but look around and make sure no one is too close or that my parents are braking on time.

Ok, nice car. My friend was driving a convertable red mustang. It was a pretty sweet car Earlier that day we had the top off in the sun We looked pretty cool
We were in the freeway with lots of car when the crashed happen. We bang into a couple of cars before the car stopped. They had to shut down the entire freeway. I am sure people were pissed waiting for the fire department to clear the freeway. I am just glad the three of us were all safe. It was good thing the driver and passenger both had on seat belts; otherwise, I think it would be worst than it was.
I usually don't wear seat belts when sitting in the back, but after the incident, I always wear it no matter what, haha.
Yeah, I was sore because I bang onto the front seats pretty hard. I am still can't believe till this day that I didn't get any broken bones!
It takes time to trust others once you're in that kind of incident and I think it's normal. Eventually you will get over it once you get comfortable again and nothing happens to you for a long time. You just need to normalize your mind. It's good a idea to go to a therapist, but I didn't go to one and that's why it took me quite a while to recover.

Oooh, nice car! Right now I'd be scared to ride with the top down though, but before I thought it would be fun to do.
Oh wow. Well that's good nothing worse happened with the traffic on the freeway! Well at least you learned your lesson to wear your seat belt! I've always worn mine but I can't imagine what would happen crashing and not wearing one, eeek.
Yea, you're right, it takes time. I kind of have to learn fast though because I'm getting my car in a week and am gonna have to drive it home.. unless my neck still hurts.
