On today's countdown Crook and Chase talked about Allison's and other letters about how I Wonder helped them and about Allison meeting Kellie. They also played I Wonder between songs #6 and #5 even though it is no longer on the countdown. Hmm, it must be a great song that deserved top 5.

Cool! Based on all of the attention and response, you can tell it's rare for a song to have this kind of effect on helping people. Even if it helped just 1 person it was worth recording and promoting.

I Received this email from crook and chase's "ppl" just a few days ago.


Alison -- thought you'd want to see this letter!! Isn't it incredible
how you are affecting people? And it's important to remember that if
you hadn't had those intense negative feelings, you wouldn't be able to

be such a blessing to others now!

Hi,
I am writing in regard to Allison's letter to you all . I actually
wrote this while ago, but hesitated to send it. I wrote after hearing
you all talk about her and her experience with Kellie Pickler, and
after
reading her letter. As I said I was listening that weekend you aired
her
first letter, I listen almost every weekend. But, it was kind of scary,

or eerie for lack of better word. That weekend when I was listening on
the way home. I was at the end of my rope, my life and everything
around
me were crashing down upon me. I was losing friends, I was losing me. I

didn't know who I was anymore, I was feeling like I couldn't take it
anymore. I was contemplating suicide myself. Then you all read
that
letter, Allison saying of how she herself was at the end of her rope.
But, Kellie saved her, not only saved her but helped to change her as a

person. You said, how Allison claimed to be a bitter and angry person.
That really got my attention, as I was turning bitter and angry. I
found
myself angry all the time anymore. When you read this letter, I found
it
to be a sign, I guess." Why else would this letter being read,
describing so much of me at that moment be read?" I thought to myself.
I
went home sat there just thinking for while. "Was it really a sign?""
Was someone trying to tell me something?" I have that letter copied and

saved, I go back and read it now and then. To remind myself, I wasn't
alone. Someone else, had felt what I had felt as well. Just as Allison
felt what Kellie has felt.
Why did I finally decide to sent my letter? Because, I felt, I owe

Allison a thank you! Had she not shared her letter with you and all of
us. I may not be here now. It's almost like that movie, if you've ever
seen it, " Pay it Forward." with Helen Hunt, and Keven Spacy. One
person
affecting another, and another and so on. Her letter is very touching,
she touched me and my life. So , I am sending this with a big Thank
You!
I don't know if it was coincidence or something a little more
powerful, if you know what I mean? But, I am still here, don't think I
would be had I not been listening that day.

really be able to thank her, maybe talk with her? Maybe you could ask

what's really eerie as she put it, is how much she.. Mandy sounds like me, and what I felt and everything.

i couldn't believe it when i got that email.
