I am raising my grandson

I honestly don't know if this will really get to you. But I will feel better knowing that it might.
I have adored you since I first say you on American Idol. And what I have seen or heard (I know some of it may not be true) But it seems to parallel my situation some (of course a little different becuase I am the grandparent)
I have gardianship of my 6 year old grandson, I have had him for 3 years now. His dad has been in and our of jail forever. My daugheter (his mom) started to be trouble for me about the time she turned 13, she has had another baby since I took Mikey and she gave her up for adoption.
Anyway I just wanted to tell you that I am sure that your Grandmother is up in heaven and smiling down on you everyday. You are something to be proud of my friend, I hope that my Mikey does half as good as you. Keep up the good work. I love your music, missed you when you came to Portland but would love to see you in concert the next time. I am truely sorry you have been thought such a hard time in your life.
