Kellie's writing her own music!!
Article i got from Musebay..
Kelly Clarkson wrote “Because of You.” Now Kellie Pickler is writing her own material too! Don’t you just love them?
An exerpt from Citizens Voice said:
Pickler is working fast to secure her spot in Idol history. She is writing songs for her album of original material. The first single is expected to be released by the end of September. The album, which will stay true to her country roots, will hit the record stores Nov. 14.
“I’m writing songs over the phone with a partner,’’ she said. “After I do my set on the tour, I’ll start writing and then get on the phone and go over material. Then, maybe I’ll sleep a little and then get up at 4 a.m. and start writing some more.’’
i tried to get the whole article but it said it wasnt available anymore but i think this says everything

I have that whole article in email.
The writer interviewed Taylor, Kellie, Elliott and Bucky.
When the article appeared on the Web, a big chunk about Elliott and everything about Bucky was missing. I sent an email to the paper to let them know. The writer sent me the whole thing.
Here's a bit more from the Kellie part if anyone missed it. She's definitely working hard and not getting much sleep. That probably contributed to her illness.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, Kellie Pickler has become a master at multi-tasking. The lovable Southern girl, who came in sixth place in Idol, was just one day off a guest-appearance stint on “The View.’’ It was on that ABC show she announced a record deal with BNA Recordings and 19 Recordings, the label founded by Idol creator Simon Fuller.

Her album will contain both slow and upbeat tunes, she said, reflecting upon her life. Pickler’s life story, filled with grief, touched a lot of Idol fans. She was abandoned by her mother and raised by her grandparents. After her grandmother died, she was then raised by her grandfather. Her father was in and out of prison all her life, only being released several weeks before the hit show was over. Although Pickler will draw material from her life experiences, she is quick to point out that “there’s a lot of good things that were in my life, too, that will be in the songs.’’

I know!! For me, a singer has to have an all-around good personality, good role model, AND talented...and Kellie is all of the above! lol
I think Kellie should announce her new date on like a public appearence so more people know. I actually havent seen too many articles saying October 31st. Hopefully she will do that soon so alot of the fans who didnt see that interveiw can rush to the stores in October instead of November. Im sure she will do something before then
Yes Kellie is definetly all of those things!
My favorite kind of celebrities are the people who give back to charities and stuff not because of more attention but because they are genuinly caring and wanting to help. When Kellie becomes rich i know she will do that out of her heart and not out of her head.

I think she will do that eventually...probably more after the tour when she will have a little more time on her hands to concentrate more on her album and all the promotional things that go along with it.
Exactly...like Kelly Clarkson is my other main role model (besides Kellie) because she does several charities as well, and encourages her fans to help out any way they can...so using their status to get other people to help out others in need is a really nice thing to do...and she isn't afraid to be herself (Kelly is such a dork...but I love her! haha) and when you go to a show, you KNOW you are going to have the best time and there will never be a dull moment...I'm expecting the same from Kellie on her first solo tour!
