Quite a Few Questions About the ACM Awards

They gave out a dozen awards at last night's ACM Awards. So a bunch of artists went home with big shiny trophies. But all I took home was questions. So many questions. Like why did Brad Paisley take the line about "he copped a feel as you walked by" out of "I'm Still a Guy" during his performance? Why is Rodney Atkins already doing a medley of hits so early in his career?
How come Toby Keith didn't include the quintessential hotties, in bikinis and cowboy hats and barbed wire tats, in the performance of his latest single? How long has Jack Ingram had that acceptance speech ready? Why is it that Sugarland is the first one to put a song on country radio with no drums? Why was Miranda Lambert so surprised she won album of the year? How is it possible for Taylor Swift to look as good wet as she does dry? Were some of the songs cut short? What's the difference between a song and single of the year?
Why can't the sound people do a better job of making these artists sound as good as they really are? When did Garth Brooks' hair get so damn gray? Was Kellie Pickler so nervous her voice was shaking? Who are the people who stood right around Keith Urban and where do I sign up for that job next year? How did Sarah Buxton make those beatbox sounds when she backed him? Why did Kenny Chesney have to close the show by thanking his parents for having sex, an image that will now live on in everyone's memories as his entertainer of the year speech is replayed over the next month?
