Written and sung from the perspective of someone who’s lived it—and continues to do so every day of her life—“I Wonder” is in many ways the most personal song on Kellie Pickler’s gold-certified debut album, Small Town Girl. Inspired by her own questions about the mother who left Kellie to be raised by her grandparents, the autobiographical ballad has been chosen as the second single from the disc. “I can’t say that it’s my favorite song because I feel sad to sing a song with lyrics like that,” Kellie tells us. It is, however, the song that carries the most sentimental meaning for Kellie…though she notes, “It’s not something that I’m proud to sing about because it’s sad that any person would ever feel the lyrics of that song.”
I do believe this song will be the one that just blows everyone away.....it makes you cry, because you know it is real and you LOVE Kellie...also, this song already has touched so many lives as well other songs on STG....I Wonder will take Kellie to Platinum and to share this with the world is a remarkable and amazing thing by a remarkable and amazing young woman who warms the heart of everyone who hears her sweet voice.
It is a great song and it is to bad she has to have a song like that, but she is a strong girl, to bad she could sing a song about all the fun times her and her mom had. But she is a great girl and the song is very moving.
I think my prediction will come true. This will be a huge song for Kellie, and prove that she can sing a great ballard.
