"Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler have a lot in common, as they both lived through the "American Idol" experience and have found success in country music. Now Kellie will be following in Carrie's footsteps as she tours with Brad Paisley in 2007.
Carrie recalls meeting Kellie while she was visiting the "Idol" set during Kellie's run on the show: "It was really cool," she tells X Radio, "because she had a lot of questions. interested in how things work. I know during the show people from the label were talking to her."
Carrie says she thinks it's "awesome" that the show is producing so many country artists. "I hear that everybody is moving to Nashville," she says. "It's really cool to have somebody, especially a female, that knows what I went through and I know what she went through. I definitely wish her the best."
i like this part "Carrie recalls meeting Kellie while she was visiting the "Idol" set during Kellie's run on the show: "It was really cool," she tells X Radio, "because she had a lot of questions. interested in how things work. I know during the show people from the label were talking to her."
Thats really cool. Carrie is really sweet, too.
I didn't know that during the show they were already trying to sign Kellie into a record deal lol Awesome.
I have always felt that these two got along great and really liked each other. They do have a lot in common on being from small towns and just breaking their way into the country music scene.
I always hope that they would tour together because I think they would have a blast and really could trust each other.
