My Trip through Albemarle...

I didn't really know where I should post this, but here seemed as good as anywhere else...
Last Saturday my sister, best friend, and I were coming home from a Trisha Yearwood concert in SC and I decided to take the "scenic" route and go through Albemarle. It was so cool seeing all the pink ribbons and Kellie pictures all around town. We ended up staying at the Best Western right next to the Sonic where Kellie worked. Kellie certainly wasn't kidding when she said it was a small town, it's very small. But Albmarle does have one thing that my hometown doesn't have... drive in movies. I went to my first drive in movie Saturday night!
I of course took several pictures, I'm going to try to get them posted on here.

nice pictures. it really is a small town. i was soo excited to see a drive-in theatre. it's an adorable town and i hope Wilmington is as supportive for me as Albemarle is of Kellie when i become an actress

I went to kellie homecoming party there . and I was so impressed with the 2 parks I seen while driving around town .. The water fountain and the stage area where Kellie was sitting while signing autographs was a very nice touch in the middle of town .. the 2nd one was the walking track with the sitting benching around it .. I thought that was great for people that wants to walk and feel safe in town .. I like the way it was designed it really looks very nice .. I'm going to tell my city about it ( Gaffney, SC) to see if we can get something like that here .. I keep hearing the city talking about building a city park well they sure need to go to Albemarle and see theirs. I to loved how the city went alll out for Kellie's homecoming all the pick ribbons the nice supports signs all over town .. even the pink flowers and pink fountain ..I really enjoyed myself the whole day I was there .. I to had to go to the worlds most popular sonic to get some food .. and it was great .. I'm ready for another hamburger and fries =) .. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it .. Everyone was so nice .. ********** I need to tell the nice lady that asked my name that I'm very sorry .. Just as she walked up and asked my name my phone in my pocket started ringing .. she is one of the ladies on here .. She walked up my phone was ringing, I was up all night hanging out in charlotte then driving to Albemarle at 4 in the morning so I could be there early to get a good view of everything .. I didn't think I looked to good after all that and people were trying to push me to get closer to the stage .. so just for a second I wasn't thinking and told her I was someone else .. then it dawned on me it was someone from on here that I told I was going to be there .. I didn't get a good look at her so after a few seconds I turned around to try to find her to tell her who I was but she was gone. I really hate I missed my chance to meet her and I want her to know I'm very sorry .. things were happening so fast I wasn't thinking .. yes I know it was wrong and I'm sorry but it isn't everyday I have someone just walk up to me out of the blue and ask who I am I'm not that popular but i wish I were =) .. I just want her to know I'm sorry and it's bothered me since then . I hope she reads this ..
