Simon Cowell on Kellie Pickler

We've got some potentially dueling KP radio streams this morning. (See the other thread about her being on a Minnesota station, too, this morningm, Friday, Dec.8 .)

She apparently was on a radio station in Denver yesterday and then Simon Cowell called in afterward. The station is playing Simon's call this morning at 9:10 a.m. Eastern.

Kellie Pickler (American Idol Finalist from Season 5), stopped by to visit with Kelly & Mudflap (12/7). She was so much fun. After the show, we received a call from the one and only, Simon Cowell. We will play that on Friday 7:10a.

Pickler And Cowell Reunited On KYGO
LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA Country KYGO/DENVER morning hosts KELLY and MUDFLAP welcomed BNA recording artist KELLIE PICKLER to the show Thursday morning (12/7) and reunited her with a long-lost friend. AMERICAN IDOL judge SIMON COWELL called in to talk to the former IDOL finalist for the first time since the season ended earlier this year.

COWELL told PICKLER that he felt she would have gone farther in the show if she had picked better songs and that he was impressed that she co-wrote five of the songs from her debut album. The call came in after the morning show was off the air, so it will be played for all to hear Friday (12/8) morning.

They are supposed to play Cowell's call at 7:10 a.m. local time, which I think is Mountain time for Denver.

So that's 9:10 a.m. Eastern and 6:10 a.m. Pacific

I knew Simon had a special affection for Kellie. From the first day he said "That's a nice girl, that's someone who I'd like to see do really well". Simon might be a pain in the butt, but, he knows what he's talking about.

I thought Simon made some pretty nice comments about her.

LOVED how he called her his Minx. lol

The part about the sitcom cracked me up. It was so typical of their onscreen relationship IMO. lol

I loved how he told her that she was one of the most geuine contestants that they've ever had. I also liked how he said she was a nice person and that she was adorable.

I'm sure there was more but its getting late so I can't think. lol.
