lol! Kellie moment! i was getting shoes yesterday, and as i walked up to the counter there was a small thing of 'mink oil' sitting there....my mind went straight to Kellie lol! im real smart

Yeah, what the heck is mink oil? Is it a kind of perfume, lol!

Mink oil will soften, waterproof and preserve leather.

People used to use it a lot on boots and baseball gloves.

Mink oil does a nice job on some shoes, but the softening lessens the support from the shoe. So these days most people use synthetic compounds to waterproof their shoes.

I had my first Kellie moment in school yesterday...

In marketing class, we were talking about the definition of marketing and somehow we started talking about what logos people pay for (like on shirts...Pepsi, or any brand) and then our teacher started talking about A&W (root beer) and how they were the first franchise to sell their logo. Then she said there used to be A&W restaurants where you would drive up in your car and the girls would rollerskate out to your car and attach a tray to your window."

This girl behind me raised her hand and said, "You know on 'American Idol,' that girl, Kellie Pickler? She used to work there..." Without even thinking, I was like, "No, she used to work at Sonic!!" I totally didn't even mean to say that...it just came out!! lol Well that was my first "Kellie moment" in school!

But hey, you were right. Nothing to be embarrassed about. You saved all the other kids in your class from a lifetime of misinformation. Or possibly missing that on a pop quiz.

I wasn't embarassed. I just didn't want anybody having any wrong information about Kellie. haha
