I just saw the world premiere of Carrie Underwood's Before He Cheats video on CMT (which I thought was a whole new great side of her, I loved it) well anyways that got me thinking about what will Kellie's first music video be like?. Will she use her comedian skills or drama or what?.

I just saw BHC on CMT.com, and I must say, It's great
She did well choosing that song as a single! I LOVE KELLIE AND CARRIE! In the one shot where Carrie is approaching the car with the bat, she looks a little like Kellie on the tour (with extensions). Her hair was similar length, I think she had a leather jacket, both hair blonde and wavy, both in all black. I'm referring to the pic of Kellie that many people have on their blends. Anyone agree? I really hope Kellie's single is someting like BHC, I love the growl that Kellie can ahve in her voice and I would love to hear it on the first single. By growl, I'm referring to the performance ending to Walkin After Midnight, and most of Fancy. Again...anyone agree?

Carrie didn't pick the song as her single, her record company did. It's that way with every artist.
Kellie's song being like Carrie's would be a really bad idea, and hopefully the people that are working with her are smarter than that. Two similar songs won't do well at the same time on the charts, and Carrie already has the support and her single was released first...
Other than that, it doesn't really matter what type of song Kellie sings. The most important thing is that it's a great song. Before being signed, she said that she wanted to do a country album, with a little rock. I think that would be a good style for her first single. |
