There's always a few good free things to pick up at Speed Street. It used to be a lot better. I think the big sponsors are cutting back.
But I usually get at least one free Tide Racing hat, so I hope they continue that. I like to wear it when I'm doing yard work.

It may not be as bad as I was thinking.
According to the schedule, Kellie is preceded on the Coca-Cola stage by something called the "Coca-Cola Racing Family." I think it's drivers answering questions and giving out autographs. That's scheduled until 9 p.m. and Kellie doesn't start until 10:30. Two very different audiences.
This isn't quite the same as when I saw the Wreckers and then Sara Evans, where fans of either one probably wanted to see the other, too.
Stanton Barrett Coca-Cola Stage 5:30pm
Kyle Busch Coca-Cola Stage 6:00pm
Dale Jarrett, Michael Waltrip, Jeff Burton Q&A Coca-Cola Stage 8:30pm-9pm ( note the extra long time after Kyle Busch's appearance, probably to give the riot squad time to clear out the stage area )
Anyway, I wouldn't be there any later than 9 p.m., and I will probably get there much earlier. |
