As most of us NC / SC Kelliefan members know, Kellie will be playing a free concert on the main streets of Charlotte on May 23rd. I expect the streets of Charlotte to be filled to the max as NC welcomes back their favorite IDOL. I just wish there was a way for us loyal Kellie fans to get up front (hint,hint) via a special pass or arrangement......  |

From my experience with the free concerts at Speed Street, the only way to be sure you get up close is to get there early. At the ones I've been to, there were no seats.
I don't know who will be playing before Kellie, but hopefully someone good so you can work your way to the front during their show, and just stay there for her show. In between shows, people do come and go, but it never clears out completely.

Yeah I might go, but I really hate the Speed Street environment. Like Mike said, you have to arrive EARLY.

Hey guys, I posted a link here somewhere, but I don't know, anyway... She performs at 10:30pm - I plan on being there too, just get there early like everyone says, and on the info page fo speed street it says that you can bring in a lawn chair, so i suggest that, for at least a seat... Then keep moving up front throughout the day if you don't get there early enough.
