Did the Music Industry want to change her image???

Hello All,

Does anyone think the those in charge of American Idol wanted to changer Kellie`s image and style.. from Country to Pop..

She has a great voice..

It seems to me that she was at her best with the music she loved "Country".

She knows how to get her voice and image across when she`s in the country mode.

Anyone any views..

In the last few weeks she has totally changed from the bubbly singer she was to a different image and person, and I think that got her booted..

I think what your referring too is simply the pressure of the competition. American Idol is in no way representative of the music industry. It's simply a tv show aired for it's entertainment value. You'll see and hear different about all the contestants once the tour starts, they will all be 100 times better than they ever were during the show.

I always thought Kellie was beautiful ever since she walked in the audition room. She's beautiful now but the stylists tried to change her and it wasn't working. Me being a person who loves making people look good. I would have done nothing with Kellie's hair or anything. Maybe some clothes but that's abou it.

You have to admit that she had changed from the girl she started as to what she ended up as, and then voted off. A total change..

You watch the way she wowed the audience at the start and then when the music and her image changed it all went down hill.

She should and will go back to her old ways, the better ways.. She will have a great career ahead in the Country music world..

None of the other artist changed the way she did..

I think she has an adorable pop voice. But then again, I think every style she sings is amazing!

Actually,the industry does have a lot of controll over image,and sometimes artists clash with those who try to change them.
It's up to the artist on what they want to project themselves to the fans.

The stylist changed her hair for the better I think and made her more beautiful..
She changed herself when she became proud of who she is and not ashamed of who she WAS....That sorta repeats what Kellie said....If you go back to the audition and replay her performances you will see that change take place...She is now happy with who she is and confident in her ability....Kellie grew up right before our eyes into a beautiful young lady....

I don't think they were trying to change her, I think that if she weere to win they would try to keep her country/pop/rockish

There`s no argueing that Kellie is a great singer but I think she should have had more say in the way she was changed. Now that she is out of the show I hope the likes of Simon and his company take her on as a singer because she would have a great following..

I`ll be buying her album when she makes one.
