After seeing Kellie on the Jimmy Kimmel show, I'm finally at peace with her departure from AI. She was very vivacious, radiant and full of energy on the Kimmel show. The old Kellie that we loved so dearly, finally came back. There was NO stress on her face and you could tell she was having a great time.
To me, the last couple of weeks, it seemed like she'd had enough of AI. I don't think she was comfortable with the themes and I don't blame her. Last week was the first time I ever seen her pout. (sad) When you start packing your bags before you're even voted off, tells me she was ready to leave. So why be sad when she's so happy and at peace with herself?
I say we just celebrate her coming into our lives and be happy that she's happy. We haven't seen the last of her, I'm sure. She has the moxie and attitude to go VERY far in whatever she pursues. That's amazing for someone who's had such a troubled childhood. She's having the best time of her life right now and we should all be happy for her.

I totally agree, we shouldn't waste our time being sad becasue we have deff not seen the last of her, her personality alone is enough to take over hollywood, if she wanted plus she can sing...yepyep she's gonna be just fine

I agree!! She's didn't seem herself for the past 2 weeks. I saw her on "Jimy Kimmer LIVE" as well. She seems so happy and I'm so glad!

I saw Kellie on 7/6/06, 9/2/07 and finally saw her in concert again and met her on 1/17/08!

right..right..right...She is now happy with what is happening to her career..i think she now has the most T.V. shows not to mention radio shows that she is featured on..and I think Kellie loves that..and we love Kellie..we want her to be happy.....and yeah.. what is vivacious??

Verry good points indeed...On the extra interview she commented "Thank goodness I don't have to prepare for Tuesdays show"...The pressure at this stage is wearing on all the contestants....Yes lets just be proud that we were able to see her rise from that lost looking young girl at audition to the vivacious young lady she is now..Her star is shining brightly..

Boy are those great words. She is indeed shining like the North Star. American Idol is going to be sorry. I guarantee you she will be more successful than any of the contestants remaining. including the winner, (the anointed Chris).

Chris will get a headstart, and may make a early splash, but I said it before and I'll say it again. Chris is best served as a frontman in some rock band, not a solo artist under AI's rules, and I highly doubt AI is capable of producing and promoting his alt rock sound and except to cash in a great deal.
I am not trying to be mean, but outside of Taylor who I think finishes runner up, the other 3 left will be forgotten once this show is over. I don't see any mass appeal in them, no superstar material, just 3 good singers who aren't very marketable or unique. I feel all three will just fall off the radar, and the talk will be about Chris, Taylor, and Kellie once her gig with AI is up.
Kellie is the only who is multi dimensional in how she would sell, she has a edge on the others in marketing and being able to find success in more things than just singing. I am being objective, not biased cause I love her, she's the only one with true star appeal.
It is clear Kellie's stress is gone. I can't wait for her CD. I'll bet she outsells whoever wins AI. That I think would be vindication enough. One thing Paula said I definitely agree with about Kellie..."The camera loves her...I can't wait for her movie career"....but I hope she does both singing and acting. It's good to see her pretty smile again. I love Kellie she is awesome!
