I get a email , newsletter from the Ellen show, each week and this week's email mentioned Kellie...I thought you might like to see it, I am just posting down to the part where she mentions Kellie. Then the link is to the video that Ellen's show posted of their interview.
A Message from Ellen
My 50th birthday celebration was as fantastic as it could be, but it's probably a good thing that you only turn 50 once. I don't know how many more surprises I could take. Remind me to clean up the empty cake plates from under the couch cushions. I've still got Silly String in my hair and there's confetti in my cereal. What a party it was last week. The Jonas Brothers were great, and I really love Kellie Pickler. It's interesting that she's doing way better than a lot of the singers who won on "American Idol."
One of the gentlest souls this world will ever know. She lights up the stage and our lives. ~God blessed Kellie with an incredible gift, then he blessed us,with Kellie!
Ellen may not know how true her words really are.....Kellie has achieved great success with very little support from her management, label, or the Nashville community in general.....Why?....you said it, everyone loves her. AND a big thank you to Ellen, Rosie, Jimmie, Jay, the Today Show, Regis and Kelly,GMA, and for some reason, John Rich.....it seems he has been gracious to Kellie....and I don't know why I am saying this....maybe because she was "on his arm" in Country Weekly from the ASCAP awards (which gave her great exposure), invited her to sit with his family at a show he was "MC" in Nashville inviting her to come on stage and showing up at TS BD party and was mentioned along with Kellie. Now JR has not included Kellie in any of his tours which means he has not benefited from her appearances....think he is just a nice guy who "embraces" everyone...maybe he is just smarter than a lot of folks in Nashville who realize all the new talent flowing in is beneficial to all because they bring in new fans who are exposed to other artists.

A birdie told me he was producing Kellie's next album.
But this is very soft information, so take it as a pure rumor for now. I'll post something if more solid info is forthcoming.
