Kellie Sang National Anthem Wednesday

I didn't find out about this until this morning. I'm really ticked that I didn't know.

Kellie sang the national anthem at the Stanley Cup Playoffs Wed night in Anaheim. I am sure her connection with Tootoo had something to do with it. However, I think this was a big deal because hockey and country music really don't go together.

When Kellie sang the NA at a Preds game in Jan, a big deal was made that she was only the second or third country music star to do that in Nashville since the Preds moved there.

Anyway, somebody who has time might scour the internet and see if a replay or something is available.

ah i can't believe i missed that! I was scanning through the guide, and I remember seeing it on, but i only put it on for a second. but that's great that she is getting exposure to different people.

That's unfortunate to say the least. In the UK I saw Stephen Stills sing it in game 1 but missed Wed game.

I'm still waiting for a file I found from the game to download.

My computer is super so right now, so maybe someone else can find out quicker than me.

Here's a file I found labeled pre-game. In the past when I've downloaded these, sometimes they cut off right before the NAs.
Right click, save as: http://www.vinylwarrior.net/sharing/g2-ott-ana-pre.wmv

If that doesn't work I found full game torrents that for sure have the NAs included, but you have to download the full 1GB.

EDIT: Ok, the pre-game one finished downloading, no NAs.

I would've watched the entire game but it was on Versus, which I don't get anymore. I watched some of the game online, but not the pre-game stuff.

How sure are we that Kellie sang the NA? I've found articles that say she was suppose to, but from what I've read, Holly Cole sang the Canadian NA and Dawn Wright sang the American NA in game 2 (Wed.). Maybe she canceled her appearance like she did the June 4th appearance at the Lonestar charity bowling event.

It was mentioned on the Ducks message board. But thinking back, they may have been talking about that she was going to be there. Not sure I saw a confirmation of her doing it. You can search on Pickler and get about 30 posts.

Also, Jimmy Carter, who does a radio bit "Lifestyles of the Rich and Redneck" every morning on many country stations, stated she was going to do it on Wednesday morning's show. However, I guess she could have canceled late.
