American Idol Performance
NASHVILLE, TN -- Kellie Pickler will return to the AMERICAN IDOL stage, to perform her hit single, “Red High Heels,” which she co-wrote, on the results show Wednesday, March 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
On her return to American Idol Kellie said, “It’s kind of like a homecoming and I’m so excited to see everybody and see the new stage and set.”
“Red High Heels,” her debut single from her Gold plus certified debut album, Small Town Girl, is the sassy ode to her favorite subject, shoes, and kicking a cheating boyfriend to curb the curb in them. Her album has also yielded the hits, “I Wonder,” the poignant tune about her mother and her current and top 20 song, “Things That Never Cross A Man’s Mind.”

Season Five finalist Kellie Pickler will return to the "American Idol" stage Wednesday, performing her hit single "Red hight Heels."
After competing on "American Idol," Pickler signed with 19 Recordings/BNA Records, and soon thereafter released her debut album, “Small Town Girl.” The album quickly became the best-selling debut by a solo country artist that year and was certified gold in January 2007.
Pickler was recently nominated for Top New Female Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music, and earned her first Country Music Association nomination last fall. Her singles, “I Wonder” and “Red High Heels,” were both Top 15 hits, and her third single, “Things That Never Cross A Man’s Mind,” is currently in the Top 20. She is currently on tour with Rascal Flatts.
The Top 11 finalists will perform songs from the Sony/ATV Music publishing songbook of the legendary Beatles John Lennon and Paul McCartney during a 2-hour show on Tuesday night.
Wednesday night, one more contestant will go home, ending their quest to become the next American Idol.
