Anyway, Kellie was really good, and I got to touch her hand at one point. We had Row R seats, so we were far back, but right next to the aisle that went down to the walkway coming out from the stage on the crowd's left. She did I Wonder on the center walkway, kneeling the whole time, and everyone stood up and applauded for like, 5 minutes. By then she was really crying, and got a tissue from someone in the crowd.
I'll have pictures soon.

I'll admit this (IW) has been one of my least favorite singles for a while. I've never hated it, but I've always thought it was just ok.
However, that changed after I heard her perform it in concert tonight. This song was by far the highlight of her set. When she finished, she got a standing ovation that lasted for at least a full minute. She couldn't hold back her tears at the end of the ovation, and some guy in one of the front rows handed her a tissue. I don't think I've ever seen an opening act get an ovation like the one she got tonight.
I might have gotten a picture of her where you can see her crying. I also got some nice pictures of her during the song too since she was about 15-20 feet away from me when she sang it. I'll try to get those pictures up on here tomorrow.

Thanks for the great review Jess! I can't wait to go as it sounds entertaining! Is the order of the performers the same for every show (i.e., Jack, Taylor, Kellie and Brad)? I am not really a fan of Jack so I want to have enough time to prepare for Taylor, Kellie and Brad.
If you don't mind, can you please answer me some of the following questions?
* How loud was it during Kellie performance or overall? I hope it's not as loud as a rock concert or during when Chris was on during AI.
* How was the lighting on the performers? It looks dark in the photos, but that just might be from the camera.
Great review! I'm surprised Kellie missed signing AND risked getting sick to take care of Taylor - isn't bronchitis contagious? Wow is she awesome or what?

Thanks!
it wasnt very loud until after "I Wonder" and then during "Red High Heels". A lot of people were singing along!
The lighting on the performers was like regular I guess. I'm not sure why it looks so dark in the pictures.
If Kellie takes anitbiotics, it should be ok I think.
I hope they have a plan to prevent her getting sick. I'm surprised 19 would let her be in the same room with Taylor as they are so protective. On the idol tour meet and greets I remember they wouldn't let fans touch or hug idols or let idols talk on fans' cell phones for fear of illness.
