I Am Livid

Somebody stole my avatar on KP.com so I told them off for stealing it. Then I received a hating email from somebody named "Little Smitty" bashing me for posting at them for STEALING MY WORK. I don't care if it's just an avatar, it's my creation and I don't like when somebody just steals it and slaps their own text on it... Follows the email:

Yeah and I mean I wouldn't mind at all if somebody asked me if they could use it or if they even credited me without asking. But to just take it and use it doesn't go over well. Anybody who does graphics understands that it isn't nice to have your work stolen. On top of that, I didn't say it in a rude way anyway. I just said "you basically stole my avatar and slapped text over it".. and then i receive this nasty email. I've heard about this person before, but never experienced firsthand.

Wow how incredibly rude. I've never had anything I've done stolen, but I can imagine that I'd react the same way as you. That guy was way over the line with that email. Are you going to report him?

Definitely! It's 1 thing if you gave them permission or they didn't credit you, but stealing is wrong. It's so unfair to the person who made the graphic, they worked hard on it and put a lot of time and effort into it.

It was wrong for someone to take your work but they might not have known you made it or it's wrong. The best thing to do is email them, let them know you made it, nicely ask them to remove it and invite them to the forum here where people give graphics away.

Obviously Little Smitty needs to follow his own advice.

Yes. He/she been banned from every Kellie message board, some more than once, that I know of.
